Supply Chain Planner

Location:

Leeds (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite)

Contract:

12-month Temporary Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join a leading organisation based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to manage a complex global supplier portfolio while driving performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite and offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring supply chain resilience and operational success.

The Role

As Supply Chain Planner, you will:

Manage a complex range of global suppliers, leading active supplier performance management.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Drive improvements in customer service levels and inventory performance.
Manage daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks within daily planning activities.
Champion preventative practices to reduce expediting and supply disruption.
Lead short- and mid-term tactical improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree (B.A./B.S.) in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong planning and analytical experience within a supply chain environment.
Experience in supplier performance management, including Class 1 & 2 escalations.
A proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), network exception management, and inbound materials tracking.
Experience collaborating with data teams to optimise planning parameters.
The ability to deliver both individual and team results in a fast-paced environment.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week with an immediate start.
