We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join a leading organisation based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to manage a complex global supplier portfolio while driving performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite and offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring supply chain resilience and operational success.
The RoleAs Supply Chain Planner, you will:
- Manage a complex range of global suppliers, leading active supplier performance management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in customer service levels and inventory performance.
- Manage daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks within daily planning activities.
- Champion preventative practices to reduce expediting and supply disruption.
- Lead short- and mid-term tactical improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree (B.A./B.S.) in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong planning and analytical experience within a supply chain environment.
- Experience in supplier performance management, including Class 1 & 2 escalations.
- A proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), network exception management, and inbound materials tracking.
- Experience collaborating with data teams to optimise planning parameters.
- The ability to deliver both individual and team results in a fast-paced environment.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week with an immediate start.
