Overview
Role: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Leeds (LS15 8GB
). We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 2 days a week in the office based.
Salary: £Competitive DOE + up to 10% discretionary annual bonus and our extensive benefits

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 – 17:00

- To deliver class-leading product availability by ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Minimise patient owing through effective stockholding, supplier quota management, and accurate forecasting with suppliers.
- Own inbound service performance and patient service levels, driving continuous improvement across availability and supply reliability.
- Own regular review of stockholding across facilities, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing optimisation of min/max levels.
- Monitor and manage non-moving and slow-moving stock, recommending actions to reduce excess and obsolescence.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance availability, service levels, inventory efficiency, and team ways of working.
- Collaborate with wholesalers and manufacturers to understand supply constraints, restock dates, and duration of supply disruptions.
- Work with clinical and customer service teams to assess and communicate suitable alternatives for out-of-stock medicines.
- Forecast demand accurately and share forecasts with suppliers to support supply planning and quota negotiations.
- Monitor inbound service levels and supplier performance against KPIs, escalating risks where required.
- Analyse availability, owings and inventory data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and supply chain best practices.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on stock availability, supply risks, and mitigation plans.
- Proven experience in a retail FMCG supply chain or buying environment
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel capability (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, calculations, sorting and filtering)
- Experience working with multiple systems and large datasets to improve end-to-end supply chain performance
- Ability to analyse data, produce reports, and generate insights for informed decision-making
- Experience planning and delivering supply optimisation or availability improvement initiatives
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines
- Experience adapting in a fast-paced, pressured environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience managing supplier relationships and communicating to achieve service and availability targets
