Join Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Racetrack Logistics Operative (Band
2). In this role you will support the smooth and efficient flow of supplies, equipment and essential items across the Trust’s hospital sites, contributing to the Racetrack delivery system. Your work ensures that wards and departments receive the resources they need for outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support the collection, movement and distribution of stores and equipment.
• Operate within the Racetrack delivery service to deliver supplies to clinical areas on time.
• Work as part of a dedicated team, communicating effectively and responding to changing priorities.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism throughout the day.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience of stores collection, stock movement or distribution duties – essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high‑quality service – essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills – essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team – essential.
  • Customer‑focused approach and commitment to service delivery – essential.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload – essential.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work flexibly – essential.
  • Capability to undertake strenuous physical tasks and meet the demands of the role – essential.
  • Evidence of excellent time‑keeping, reliability and professional approach – essential.
  • Previous NHS, logistics, post room or healthcare support experience – desirable.
