Supply Chain Manager
£60,000 + Benefits
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Cast UK is supporting a rapidly growing D2C business based in Leeds. Committed to delivering outstanding products and services nationwide, they want to continue their upwards growth trajectory with an experienced Supply Chain Manager overseeing product ranges, supplier relationships, procurement duties, inventory management and overall operational efficiency. The role will be based in Leeds with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH), with infrequent requirement to travel.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and manage end to end supply chain operations.
- Build and manage strong relationships within supplier networks, such as wholesalers, retailers and manufacturers.
- Monitor stock levels, keeping up to date with sales trends and creating demand forecast processes to align with ordering strategies.
- Integrate with and liaise with internal teams such as operations, warehouse and commercials to streamline supply chain operations.
- Review, plan and implement new processes to further improve efficiency in areas such as stock levels and timing of purchase orders.
- Ensure relevant compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage and resolve disruptions, developing contingency plans where needed.
- Analyse supply chain KPIs and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience as Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or Inventory Manager.
- Recent background within the pharmaceutical industry or veterinary pharmaceuticals would be strongly preferred, ideally in retail or wholesale environments.
- Proven experience managing key supplier relationships, with demonstrable record of leading negotiations, driving efficiencies and developing relationships.
- Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management, demand forecasting and supplier management.
- Tech‑savvy with strong ERP system experience - prior experience introducing new systems would be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst having attention to detail.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly across stakeholders, customers and internal teams.
