Title:
Supply Chain Planner

Location:
Leeds/Ferrybridge (100% office based)

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 + benefits package

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing group with a significant international presence and a reputation for operational excellence across its sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team based at their Ferrybridge facility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels and replenishment activities across a broad portfolio of finished products
  • Analyse inventory holdings and identify opportunities to optimise stock levels and availability
  • Monitor back orders and support the resolution of supply issues
  • Coordinate packaging and materials replenishment requirements to support production operations
  • Manage supplier data and maintain accurate pricing and master data within ERP systems
  • Support direct shipment processes and coordinate transportation requirements
  • Monitor outstanding orders and proactively manage delivery schedules
  • Coordinate import logistics activities and support relationships with third-party suppliers and warehouses
  • Produce regular KPI reports and analysis to support business decision making
  • Support wider supply chain and logistics activities as required across the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within supply chain, planning, manufacturing, logistics or operations would be advantageous
  • Graduates with a relevant degree and a strong interest in supply chain and manufacturing are encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach to work
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
