Restoration Operative – Full-Time Temp to Perm (Essex & London Area)

Are you practical, reliable, and ready for a hands‑on role where no two days are the same? We’re seeking a Restoration Technician to carry out specialist cleaning and property works across a variety of sites.

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8‑hour shifts)
• Occasional overtime (paid at enhanced rate) and on‑call responsibilities
• Minimum age: 25+ due to insurance policy

• Works well both independently and in a team
• Has a strong work ethic and a ‘can‑do’ attitude
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Is physically fit and comfortable working in tight or awkward spaces
• Is keen to learn and develop new practical skills

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Physically able to lift and carry materials
• Comfortable using tablets/iPads for reporting and documentation
• Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Some basic DIY or property maintenance knowledge is a bonus
• Willingness to undergo a DBS (criminal background) check

• Carrying out strip‑out work, deep cleaning, and site preparation
• Setting up and maintaining specialist equipment on location
• Handling furniture and household items for cleaning and storage
• Completing digital reports using mobile devices
• Communicating with clients, contractors, and other professionals on‑site
• Following health & safety protocols including the use of PPE and risk assessments
• Ensuring work vehicles are clean, stocked, and well‑maintained
• Attending regular training sessions, both in‑house and external
