In the role of Yard Operative you'll play an essential part in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. Your primary responsibilities include preparing the equipment to ensure it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Checking and storing off‑hired equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• Liaising with customers on a day‑to‑day basis when loading and unloading jobs

• Physical fitness required to undertake daily tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Organised approach, able to complete job duties on time
• Good customer service skills
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake relevant training and development
• A commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety – knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage
