We are seeking a highly motivated and pro-active individual to play a key role in the delivery of our operation to provide high quality cleaning service and an exceptional student/customer experience. We are looking for Assistant Team Leader to join our busy, quality-focused Cleaning Services team. Working closely with the Operations Team Leader you will help provide a clean, safe, and well-presented environment, to the highest of standards, ensuring a positive and enjoyable campus experience for all our students, staff, and visitors.
You will be highly motivated with a flexible and positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards your work. You will have excellent attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and presentation. In addition to supporting the Operations Team Leader you will also undertake all cleaning duties as required, such as emptying bins and removing waste to the designated bin site, vacuuming, mopping, machine floor cleaning, damp dusting fixtures and fittings and cleaning sanitary areas.
The role also requires a ‘hands-on’ operational approach, and you will possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and an ability build, maintain and develop effective relationships within the team.
The role is part-time, working Saturdays, alternating hours.
5 hours on Saturday - week 1 (3pm-8pm) alternating to
3 hours on Saturday - week 2 (5pm-8pm)
5 hours on Saturday - week 3 (3pm-8pm)
3 hours on Saturday - week 4 (5pm-8pm) and so on
Due to the nature of the role, you may also be required to work other weekend days, bank holidays and University closed days.
