At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who will carry out general maintenance duties, supporting facilities operations across Leeds (LS11 8BU
) with possible travel to Normanton and Carr Gate sites within a 10-mile radius, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

• Carry out general porterage, cleaning support where required, decorating duties as requested by the Facilities Manager, and maintain internal and external entrances and surrounding areas
• Undertake routine checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions are achieved
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a regular basis in line with schedules and requirements
• Carry out building fabric activities including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed in line with safety standards, compliance requirements, and site expectations

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

• Previous experience as a handy person or in a general maintenance role with broad practical skills
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment
• Physical dexterity and manual handling capability
• Full valid driving licence
• Ability to meet West Yorkshire Police vetting requirements

• Company van provided for travel between sites
