We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in LS17
. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment.

As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, secure, and fully operational for pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Opening and closing the school site.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds.
• Conducting regular health and safety checks.
• Monitoring contractors and visitors on site.
• Supporting with deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the school grounds.
• Reporting and escalating maintenance issues where appropriate.
• Assisting with emergency procedures and site inspections.

• Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site supervision role is desirable.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
