We are partnering on an exclusive basis with a successful Manufacturing SME in Leeds to appoint a high-impact Finance Director who will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of the business's growth journey.

The Opportunity:

This is a key board-level position suited to a commercially focused Finance Director who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You'll lead on strategy, performance, and financial governance while acting as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial strategy, planning, and reporting across the organisation
Drive transformation initiatives and operational improvements
Develop and implement robust KPIs to enhance decision-making and business performance
Strengthen margin performance and support pricing strategy
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
Provide commercial insight to drive productivity and sustainable growth
Lead and develop the finance team
We're looking for a Finance Director with:

Experience with in manufacturing or a similar operationally intensive environment
Exposure to SME operations, exceeding £60m
A track record of delivering transformation and driving commercial outcomes
Strong analytical and strategic capability
Evidence of improving margins, processes, and performance
A collaborative leadership style and the confidence to influence at board level
Forward-looking, embracing and enhancing performance through innovation
