To lead, grow and champion Northern Estate Agencies Group’s Land & New Homes proposition across all brands, positioning us as the go-to partner for house builders and developers across the region.
This is a senior, outward-facing role with a strong emphasis on networking, relationship-building and winning new developer instructions, alongside delivering outstanding sales performance on current developments. The role will also be responsible for raising the profile of Land & New Homes through a forward-thinking marketing and social media approach.
Working as part of the wider LRG group, you will actively draw on their expertise, tools and best practice, while ensuring the local proposition, relationships and delivery standards remain first-class and consistent with our brands.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain a strong network across developers, house builders, landowners, planning contacts and professional introducers.
- Proactively generate new opportunities through events, forums, partnerships and targeted engagement.
- Convert relationships into new developer clients, new sites and repeat instructions.
- Be a visible ambassador for NEAG Land & New Homes across the region creating credibility as a go to operator in this space with the right people.
- Identify and secure land and new development opportunities aligned to the Group’s strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships to source viable land opportunities.
- Produce and/or oversee high-quality site and land appraisals and advise on go-to-market strategy.
- Oversee launches and ongoing sales performance of new home developments, ensuring excellent standards across pricing, presentation, lead handling, reporting and conversion.
- Coordinate with sales/branch teams to ensure new homes activity is handled consistently and professionally across NEAG.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and buyer demand, adjusting strategy to optimise performance.
- Work with Marketing to create a consistent, confident “story” for Land & New Homes across all brands.
- Drive a forward-thinking approach to content and digital presence (social, video, case studies, site updates, thought leadership).
- Ensure we actively promote wins, launches, results and expertise so the market recognises our credibility and momentum.
- Increase awareness of the Land & New Homes proposition across the wider branch network to drive referrals and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure the Land & New Homes team understands the wider Group proposition (financial services, conveyancing partners, etc.) to create mutual referral value.
- Leverage LRG’s capability (systems, insights, marketing support, best practice) to enhance delivery and performance, without losing local strength and accountability.
- Lead and develop the Land & New Homes team (including any site-based representatives), setting clear expectations, coaching performance and building a winning culture.
- Promote innovation, ownership and accountability, measured by both results and reputation.
- Set clear goals, review performance regularly, and take action to improve outcomes.
- Provide the NEAG Board with a monthly overview of live developments, land pipeline, referral pipeline and manned/unmanned sites.
- Maintain an accurate forward-looking pipeline of prospective instructions and expected business.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulation and process throughout.
- Proven track record of winning new business and converting opportunities into instructions (developer/land/new homes strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end residential process (valuation/onboarding to exchange/completion).
- Knowledge of the planning system and the land/new homes landscape.
- Ability to create/assess site and land appraisals.
- Commercial, confident and credible with senior developer/house builder stakeholders.
- Natural networker: visible, proactive, relationship-led and comfortable representing the business at events (including outside normal hours).
- Strong leadership capability, able to inspire, set standards and drive performance through others.
- Resilient, accountable and solutions focused.
- Full driving licence and business insurance essential.
- NAEA Level 3 (Sale of Residential Property) or equivalent desirable.
Basic Salary £50,000 per annum plus Car Allowance £500.00 per calendar month.
OTE - £100,000
