Project Manager – Solar PV Development About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a focus on renewable energy projects, specifically Solar PV development. This role is based in Gloucestershire and involves a 12-month contract where you will spearhead key solar energy initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Job Description
  • Project Leadership
    :
    Manage all stages of Solar PV development projects, from initial planning to final implementation, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.

  • Stakeholder Management
    :
    Act as the principal contact for all project stakeholders, effectively managing communications and expectations to align with project goals.

  • Resource Allocation
    :
    Strategically allocate resources, both human and material, to maximize efficiency and project success.

  • Risk Management
    :
    Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines or outcomes.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    :
    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain high quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Reporting and Documentation
    :
    Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders through detailed reports on project progress, issues, and achievements.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background
    :
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

  • Proven Experience
    :
    Extensive experience in managing Solar PV projects, with a thorough understanding of the technical, regulatory, and financial aspects involved.

  • Leadership Skills
    :
    Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire project teams, driving projects to successful completion.

  • Communication Skills
    :
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for managing stakeholder relationships and team interactions.

  • Analytical Skills
    :
    Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop strategic solutions to complex project challenges.
