Supply Chain Director | National | Retail | c.£150k+

UK (National role with travel)

I am currently partnering with a large retail business who are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead and evolve the end-to-end supply chain.

This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for inbound supply, distribution centres, transport, inventory, and replenishment. You will ensure high product availability, strong cost control, and a scalable, resilient operation capable of supporting continued growth across stores and e-commerce.

• Own and deliver the end-to-end supply chain strategy
• Lead high-volume distribution, logistics, and inventory operations
• Drive improvements in availability, cost, and working capital
• Partner closely with buying, merchandising, and sourcing teams
• Lead major transformation initiatives across systems, automation, and network design
• Build and inspire large operational and leadership teams

• Proven senior supply chain leader within retail, FMCG, or high-volume distribution
• Strong operational background across warehousing, transport, and network planning
• Experience managing complex, fast-moving, multi-SKU supply chains
• Commercial, data-driven, and confident operating at executive level reporting to the board
• Hands-on leader who thrives in a high-pace, value-focused environment
