Looking for a Maintenance Manager role at a diverse University estate that offers genuine work–life balance with a 35 hour week and 40 days holiday as well as a 15% pension contribution?

The Role
  • Manage day–to–day reactive maintenance across a multi–building estate
  • Lead and support in–house engineers and contractors
  • Ensure statutory compliance and safe systems of work
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs and service standards
  • Act as escalation point for technical issues
  • Contribute to resource planning and budget oversight

This is a hands–on operational leadership role within a structured, professional estate environment.

The Candidate
  • Maintenance / Building Services background (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Experience managing engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, PPM and reactive systems
  • Background in estates, NHS, MOD, education or FM environments advantageous
Package & Benefits
  • Salary scale up to 46,049 (Grade 6 progression)
  • Optional on–call rota (3,800 per annum)
  • Duty Holder responsibilities available (2,360 per annum)
  • 15% employer pension contribution
  • 40 days' annual leave (rising with service)
  • Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
  • Structured progression within a stable estate environment
