Position at Leo Vegas UK AboutThe Role
The Head of Affiliates will lead the global affiliate channel across all markets, with full ownership of its P&L. This role is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing team, driving sustainable growth, and guiding the evolution of the affiliate model in a sector undergoing rapid transformation.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial leadership, deep analytical capabilities, and a global perspective, with the ability to turn complex market dynamics into clear strategic actions.
You will be responsible for:Strategic Leadership & Performance
- Lead the global affiliate channel with full accountability for revenue, profitability, and strategic direction.
- Define and communicate a long-term vision for the department, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives.
- Provide clear guidance on deal models and commercial strategies in a fast-changing landscape, ensuring competitiveness and market readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement of KPIs, dashboards, and performance frameworks to support decision‑making and resource allocation.
- Manage a large and diverse team (13-15 FTE + dotted‑line reports), ensuring high standards of execution, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and speed, enabling teams to operate effectively across office‑based and remote setups.
- Support the integration of a "cluster‑first" mindset, enabling consistent execution across different geographies.
- Oversee all affiliate deal structures (CPA, Hybrid, Rev Share, media buy, PPC, influencer, networks), and drive innovation by incorporating new partnership models when needed.
- Lead negotiations with strategic partners, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes and long‑term sustainability.
- Guide market teams in forecasting, budgeting, and performance optimization across all regions.
- Collaborate closely with Country Teams, Brand, Paid Media, Product, BI, and Compliance to align affiliate performance with broader marketing and business priorities.
- Ensure that cross‑department processes are data‑driven, business‑oriented, and scalable.
- Oversee the correct application of attribution, compliance, and internal governance processes, ensuring they are followed consistently and pragmatically.
- Promote a clear understanding of regulatory environments across markets and ensure affiliate activity complies with all business and legal requirements.
- 7-10+ years in affiliate marketing within the iGaming industry, covering multiple regions and portfolio sizes.
- Proven track record in managing multimillion‑euro budgets and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong commercial and sales experience, with the ability to negotiate complex deals and manage high‑value portfolios.
- Experience leading medium‑to‑large teams across international markets.
- Solid understanding of attribution logic, performance metrics, and the dynamics of regulated environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with affiliate management systems (e.g., Net Refer or similar).
- Familiarity with analytics and BI tools (GA4, Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong quantitative skills for KPI modeling, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
- High accountability and strong ownership mindset.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in fast‑moving markets.
- Strength in coaching, motivating, and growing teams at different seniority levels.
- Resilience and adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
