Overview

We are seeking a Director of Finance and Facilities to join the Senior Leadership Team at Allerton Grange School. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the school's financial strategy, oversee facilities and ICT provision, and ensure our resources support excellence in teaching and learning. As a key member of the leadership team, you will:

  • Advise the Headteacher, Leadership Team and Governors on all financial matters.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure sustainability and the effective use of resources.
  • Oversee facilities management, health & safety compliance, and PFI contract liaison.
  • Line manage finance, facilities and IT teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the school development plan and strategic priorities.

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with accountancy qualification or relevant experience (AAT, ACA, ACCA, MBA, CIPFA, CIMA).
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with strategic thinking and organisational ability.
  • Extensive experience of financial and budgetary management, ideally within education.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
