Enhance Primary Healthcare is an innovative, independent clinical service aligned to The Street Lane Practice and delivering a mix of NHS commissioned and private sector activity. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, strategic and highly personable Business Manager to shape the next phase of our development.

This is a newly created senior leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a varied portfolio of operational management, service development, contract oversight and business growth. You will work closely with the Enhance Primary Healthcare Board, GP Partners and Clinical Leads to ensure our services are safe, effective, financially sustainable and aligned with organisational priorities

As Business Manager
, you will

• Provide day to day operational leadership across Enhance Primary Healthcare, ensuring high quality, efficient and compliant service delivery.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing culture.
• Manage NHS and private sector contracts, including KPIs, reporting, commissioner relationships and performance assurance.
• Drive business development identifying new opportunities, developing bids and proposals, and supporting diversification into the private healthcare market.
• Oversee financial stewardship, including budgeting, income reconciliation and expenditure monitoring.
• Lead on governance, quality, risk and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, PCNs, GP practices, system partners and external stakeholder.

Toprovide strategic and operational leadership for Enhance Primary Healthcare, an independent clinical service aligned to The Street Lane Practice and deliveringNHS and private sector commissioned activity. The postholder will ensure high quality service delivery, effective contract management, strong financial stewardship,and the development of new business opportunities including within the private sector to support the sustainability and growth of Enhance Primary Healthcare.

The postholder willwork closely with the Enhance Primary Healthcare Board and The Street Lane Practice Partners and Practice Manager to ensure the service delivers safe,effective and strategically aligned care

• Experience managing NHS funded or regulated healthcare services.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrable experience in contract management and commissioner engagement.
• Ability to develop business cases, tenders or service proposals.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and
• Confident handling HR issues in line with policy and best practice.
• Experience of service development, transformation or redesign.
• Experience working in or alongside General Practice or PCNs.
• Knowledge of NHS commissioning processes and performance
• frameworks.
• Experience in service redesign, QI or transformation programmes.
• Understanding of CQC requirements and clinical governance
• systems.

£49,387 to £56,515 a year
