What we're looking for:We're looking for a team manager who has managed teams of ideally 20 and above, who is motivated by inspiring others, treating colleagues with compassion and supporting them to thrive in their roles. Management of cleaning teams would be an advantage, however we're open to managers who support large teams in facilities or other relatable industries. With an understanding that this is a hands-on and compassionate role, you will treat colleagues and employees with empathy, providing an environment where people feel respected and supported.
Job purpose:As an Area Cleaning Manager you will manage, develop and motivate a team of supervisors and cleaners who are responsible for delivering a high-standard cleaning service across a diverse portfolio.
What you'll be doing:- Responsible for managing approximately 10 sites, a team of 60 colleagues and around 30 customers across the sites, delivering a fantastic service across Leeds and Wakefield.
- Creating, implementing and managing operational objectives for your area, while remaining nimble and adaptable to the constantly changing environment.
- Responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle from start to finish, including finding, growing and retaining talent, leading, inspiring and supporting our teams to deliver their best work.
- Advising customers on cleaning specifications and providing tailored quotes based on customer requirements.
- Enthusiastically helping to shape and develop Unify as a best-in-class cleaning provider.
- Providing operational insight and knowledge, using data to highlight where we need to focus on our customer experience.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure that the various pieces of our service fit together perfectly for a seamless customer experience.
- Maintaining quality, paying attention to detail and ensuring continuous improvement, efficiency and consistency through standardisation, record keeping and health & safety compliance.
