Description

Position at Leo Vegas Group.

BetMGM is one of the fastest-growing brands in the global sports betting and iGaming industry. Backed by the strength of MGM Resorts International and Leo Vegas Group, we are bringing the gold standard of entertainment to disrupt the sector. As we scale rapidly, we are building a world-class local team, and performance insights are at the heart of our commercial strategy.

The Commercial Performance Senior Manager is not just a data expert, but a commercial leader with consultancy-level problem-solving skills to join our high-performing RoW analytics function. You will operate across all business functions— from marketing and product to operations and finance—with a clear mission: to understand, optimise, and grow how the business makes money.

This role blends deep analytical expertise with strategic advisory capability, delivering insights that shape decision-making, drive revenue, and improve operational efficiency.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Lead and mentor Commercial Analysts providing guidance and support.
  • Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders (Marketing, Product, CRM, Pricing, Risk, Operations, Finance) to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Alongside the regional Performance Director, accountable for reporting on UK portfolio performance to local leadership, Exco and MGM board.
  • Analyse end-to-end revenue drivers across acquisition, retention, monetisation, and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead consultancy-style problem solving, from scoping questions to prioritising projects, structuring analysis, and delivering clear recommendations. For example:
Generosity Optimisation & Strategy, Pricing Strategy (Sports & Casino), Casino Optimisation, Commercial Deal Analysis, Customer Risk Profiling & Optimisation.
  • Build and deliver actionable performance insights that directly influence revenue, customer behaviour, and profitability.
  • Support the local and group Performance Directors in embedding actionable, data-driven insights into regular performance conversations.
  • Partner with finance and commercial teams to enhance revenue forecasting, campaign ROI, and P&L modelling.
  • Own cross-functional performance reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly), ensuring leadership is equipped with a deep understanding of performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with central teams to embed and maintain a world-class analytics framework covering transactional, market, competitor, and customer data.
  • Contribute to a data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting analytical best practice.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Proven experience in a commercial analytics, revenue optimisation, or strategy role within online gambling, gaming, or a similarly fast-paced digital sector.
  • Consultancy craft – skilled in problem solving (at least five years in a commercial leadership role), hypothesis-led thinking, project prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of how digital businesses generate revenue and profit.
  • Expertise across multiple analytics domains: performance, product, operations, customer, and commercial.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Excellent communicator, able to present complex data in clear, concise, and compelling ways to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines.
