In People Experience and Platform (PExP), we're committed to simplifying daily tasks for colleagues throughout Lloyds Banking Group.
We bring together a diverse set of capabilities, spanning colleague experiences, platforms, data, services and transformation, all passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes at scale.
Our Transformation & Enablement team is central to this, playing a meaningful role in crafting the operating model, ways of working, and strategic direction of PExP.
Over the past year, we have driven major changes across the function, including Platform 2.0, Platform 3.0, and the PExP Squad model. We continue crafting what lies ahead.
About the roleAs a Senior Manager, you'll collaborate with senior leaders to develop and deliver a broad portfolio of operating model and transformation initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Transformation & Enablement and is positioned at GEC-3 level. It offers high visibility and direct access to senior decision-making forums.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and prioritise key operating model challenges
- Build clear, pragmatic solutions across structure, governance, processes and ways of working
- Translate strategic ambition into practical, executable builds
- Lead end-to-end business build activity, helping to evolve how PExP delivers services
- Build the future state of our squads, services and experiences, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities
- Work with leaders to continuously optimise service delivery and colleague experience
- Deliver complex organisation build and restructuring activity
- Collaborate closely with our Implementation teams to manage governance, consultation, and delivery
- Ensure change is delivered in a clear, structured and colleague-centric way

- Build high-quality, executive-ready content to support decision-making
- Bring clarity and direction in complex, ambiguous situations
- Represent PExP within Group-wide programmes and initiatives
- Ensure strong alignment with the wider organisation
- Help the function remain joined-up, responsive and forward-looking
- Contribute to how emerging capabilities (including AI and automation) build future operating models
- Support practical thinking on how these can be embedded to improve service delivery
- Proven experience in operating model strategy, business development and organisational transformation within a large, complex organisation (e.g. Financial Services, Consulting, technology-enabled functions)
- Proven history of managing comprehensive transformation projects, from strategy development through to implementation and organisational change
- Experience working in or alongside central transformation, strategy, organisational efficiency, business build or business architecture teams
- Track record of influencing and delivering outcomes in matrixed environments with multiple senior collaborators
- Strong exposure to organisation development and implementation, including governance, consultation and execution
- Ability to operate at pace across a broad and evolving portfolio, balancing critical thinking with hands-on delivery
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, with curiosity about how People, technology and future ways of working evolve
This isn't about incremental improvement.
It's about rethinking and rebuilding how a function operates end to end, bringing together strategy, development and delivery to craft something meaningfully better. If you're excited by developing strategy, operating models, solving complex challenges and driving transformation at pace, we'd love to hear from you.
Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.
We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles. We also developed a menopause health package and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.
And it's why we especially welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
We're disability confident. So if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.
