their uk flagship facility is based in leeds, just a few miles from the m1 & m62 motorways, meaning that the successful project manager can easily commute from wakefield, bradford, selby, castleford, pontefract, huddersfield, wetherby and harrogate.
key responsibilities of the project manager:
- lead and promote a positive health & safety culture through visible leadership, safety observations, interventions and site safety walks.
- take full accountability for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring performance against commercial, financial, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction objectives.
- manage the tendering process by supporting the sales team, assessing customer requirements and ensuring commercially compliant, competitive proposals.
- drive project profitability and commercial performance, including risk management, quality documentation and the resolution of contractual disputes.
- coordinate project execution from handover through delivery, facilitating kick-off meetings, resource planning and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement and operations.
- build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing proactive communication and ensuring projects are delivered to meet client expectations.
working hours of the project manager:
37.5 hours per week with flexible start time offered.
- core hours: 10:00 – 15:30 monday to thursday / 10:00 to 14:30 friday
- earliest start: 07:00
in return, the project manager will receive:
- renumeration: £30.98 per hour (paid via umbrella paye)
- contract length: 3 months (likely to go on longer but not guaranteed)
- pension contribution after 3 months
- access to free on-site parking, on-site subsidised canteen & gym
