Group Finance Manager

We’re delighted to be partnering with a well-established global technology business based in Leeds to recruit a Group Finance Manager.

This is a senior position with responsibility for leading the management accounts team and overseeing accurate and timely reporting across the wider group. The role offers strong exposure to senior leadership, with a focus on commercial performance, financial insight, forecasting and driving improvements in the quality and efficiency of management reporting.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Senior leadership position within the Group Finance function

• Responsibility for leading the Management Accounts team

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and group reporting

• Strong focus on commercial performance, variance analysis and financial insight

• Significant exposure to the senior leadership team

• Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and planning

• Opportunity to drive process improvements and enhance reporting

• Broad international / multi-entity exposure

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified required

Ideally suited to someone from a complex, multi-site or international environment

• Excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a broader Head of Finance / senior finance leadership position

• Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification

• Strong management accounting and group reporting experience

• Proven experience leading and developing a finance team

• Strong understanding of month-end, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

• Experience producing high-quality management information for senior leadership

• Experience with in a complex, multi-entity, multi-site or international environment

• Track record of improving processes, controls and reporting

• Confident operating at both a strategic and detailed level

• Experience in a fast-paced, growing or acquisitive business.
