CNC Miller – Shaw Management Solutions

Permanent role – pay £16p/hr to £17p/hr DOE – 40hrs/week, Mon‑Fri, 25 days holiday.

Based in Leeds. We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller and Programmer with sub‑contract machining experience.

• Apprentice trained or experienced (3+ years) CNC miller.
• Must be able to program, set, edit and operate – HAAS, Fanuc, Siemens or Prototrak experience essential.
• Experience machining up to 4‑axis.
• Good experience of sub‑contract work.
• Knowledge of machining stainless and mild steel, aluminium, brass, copper, bronze & plastic.
• Ability to machine bespoke small to medium batch–size components (2’s to 100’s).
• Optional: CNC turning experience beneficial.
• Working to tight tolerances.

• Program, set and operate CNCs to produce accurate, quality components.
• Use materials and tooling efficiently.
• Manage your work schedule.
• Self‑inspect all manufactured components.
• Adhere to all quality and H&S standards.

Contract to 40hrs per week – Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm, early finish Friday. Overtime available during busy periods.
