Assembly Workshop Assistant
Location: Armley, Leeds
Employment: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per annum
We are looking for an Assembly Workshop Assistant to join a close‑knit, friendly workshop team where quality, care and teamwork genuinely matter. This role is for someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys working as part of a small supportive team, pays close attention to detail and understands that the best products are built with care and not rushed out of the door.
You will be joining a purpose‑led manufacturing and assembly business that designs and builds high‑quality consumer products that are designed and made to last. Sustainability, craftsmanship and engineering excellence sit at the heart of everything we do and that mindset runs through the whole team.
As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a key role in assembling products that are shipped to our valued and loyal customers worldwide. Working closely with the Production Team Leader and the wider workshop team, you will assemble products to high quality standards, ensuring every item is finished, checked and prepared with care and attention before leaving the workshop. This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in accuracy and understands the importance of consistency and teamwork in a small manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience in manufacturing, production or technical assembly
- Excellent attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach
- Comfortable using computer systems and completing accurate data entry
- Reliable, organised and able to manage tasks efficiently
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- A team‑focused attitude and a friendly, supportive approach to work
- Interest in engineering or technical components an advantage
- Salary £26,000‑£27,000 per annum
