Butcher Apprentice | Llanidloes

We are looking for aspiring butchers to join our Butchery Academy here at Llanidloes.

By completing this programme, you will become a qualified Butcher who will be able to use these skills within the company.

Each apprentice will have a bespoke training plan and as part of this, will complete a nationally recognised L2 Butchery apprenticeship with Cambrian Training Company. All learning will take place in the workplace where the training provider and our experienced on-site team will look after your development and make sure that you are learning new skills.

After your apprenticeship you can progress your career through the ranks in Butchery, increasing your earning potential.

We offer ongoing development opportunities for those individuals who are keen to progress and are ambitious.

Many of our previous apprentices are now Team Leaders and Managers.

• Ensure product is processed according to Customer specifications
• Ensure work is carried out to the best of your abilities to meet production deadlines
• Seek training to maintain skills and remain up to date with best practice
• Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work
• Comply with Company policies, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times.
• If you want to learn new skills and work as part of a team then we want to hear from you.

• Attitude and willingness to learn is the most important aspect
• Level 2 Certificate for Proficiency in Meat and Poultry Industry Skills
• Pay:
  Successful applicants will have a starting salary of £12.00 per hour plus additional benefits.
