In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling various types of furniture, ensuring each piece meets our high standards for quality and structural integrity. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing well-constructed items for our customers.
Key responsibilities include carefully reading and interpreting assembly instructions, using a variety of hand and power tools safely, and conducting quality checks on completed furniture. You'll also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, manage inventory of parts, and report any damaged or missing components. Teamwork and adherence to safety protocols are also crucial aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in furniture assembly or a similar manual trade, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items are also required to successfully perform the duties of this position.
Hours 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 2.30pm finish Friday.
