Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a dynamic engineering team in Leeds. This role involves maintaining and improving complex production machinery within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke printing and finishing machinery.
• Provide technical support to the production department and assist with process improvements.
• Participate in the development of new equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work within a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts, plus weekend call‑out duties.

A successful Multi‑Skilled Engineer should have:

• Holds an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); 18th Edition preferred.
• Experienced in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of PLC control and variable speed motor controllers.
• Demonstrates problem‑solving ability, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining production.
• Flexible and self‑motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Advantageous experience includes print machinery, Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers, project management, machine building, CAD electrical drawings, and PUWER risk assessments.
