Pipefitter, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Overview

We are looking for a Pipefitter to work a day shift, Monday to Friday, for our client in Leeds. The role will last initially about 6 months with a possibility of extension. A night shift is also available if preferred.

• Fabricate pipe of various sizes from small bore up to 2" in materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and duplex.
• Bend and form pipe ready for welding according to ISO drawings.
• Operate electrical bending equipment and interpret ISO drawings.
• Complete specific paperwork in line with company processes.
• Work day shift Monday to Friday; overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours worked and double time for Sundays.

• Apprentice-trained Pipefitter with prior experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing business that has ties to the Oil & Gas sector.
• Confident with pipe fabrication and bending.
• Able to read and understand ISO drawings.
• Experienced in completing required paperwork.

• Workshop-based environment with free parking and access to a subsidised canteen and gym.
• Option to be paid through an umbrella or PAYE; PAYE includes 33 days holiday per annum.
• Dig allowance for candidates over 50 miles from the site.
• Competitive pay with a quarterly bonus of £1,000 paid every 3 months.
