Production Operative - Stourton

Arla Foods Stourton Dairy are looking for a proficient Production Operative to join our team on a full time and permanent basis where you will play an integral part in the production of our dairy products.

As a Production Operative you will be working a full time, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) and will have responsibility for the daily operation of container filling and labelling machinery.

The daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products. You will also be responsible for reporting and correcting any safety issues whilst maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.

It is essential you perform quality inspections on materials and finished product which will include codes, seals and weights and you will be responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.

You will perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.

Finally, you will perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten and monitor equipment and process performance and correct/raise issues before they become a problem.

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an FMCG or related company
• We are looking for a good communicator with ability to understand instructions
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable
• Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC
