Arla Foods Stourton have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician . Stourton Dairy is one of the largest in the UK with the capacity to produce 750million litres of milk per year. - Health, Safety & Quality Ensures a health and safety mindset, identifies potential hazards, applies food safety procedures (HACCP), understands good hygiene practices, and ensures CIP and cleaning processes are performed to the correct standard and frequency.
- Production KPI’s Understands departmental KPI’s and performance management tools, drives OEE, plan adherence, and cost control, minimizes and manages losses, and optimizes labor on a daily basis.
- Lean Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, utilizes lean manufacturing tools such as Route Cause Analysis and Leadership Standard Work, has a process confirmation mindset, and understands how the Line Centric Organisation supports shift teams.
- Workplace and Organisation Acts as a leader and role model, engages with teams to deliver efficiently, resolves and escalates operational issues, works closely with Engineering colleagues and site departments, and deputizes for the team leader when necessary.
- General Responsibilities Contributes to a healthy and safe work environment, ensures all daily tasks are completed to the expected standard and schedule, and resolves minor conflicts within the team.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience within the FMCG sector in a management/supervisory role
- IT literacy including MS Office tools and MS Teams
- Communication Skills
- Ability to follow Health and Food safety rules
