Position Overview
Role:
Mechanical Assembly Fitter —
Location:
Leeds — Duration: 6 months (likely to be extended) — Rate: £21.30 - £28.45 (plus quarterly bonus) — Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (early finish Friday)
- dismantling and assembling a variety of equipment, from building rotors and pumps up to skid assembly
- using impact tooling and bolting, and candidates who can use a balancing machine will be of particular interest
- read ISO drawings and complete the associated paperwork
- good all‑round mechanical assembly skills will be required
- overtime available and paid at time and a half after 37 hours worked and double time for Sundays
- apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent as a Mechanical Fitter, with proof of qualifications
- previously worked in a similar position
- comfortable work environment

- 33 days holiday per annum (by PAYE)
- dig allowance for candidates over 50 miles from site
- quarterly bonus of £1000 (paid every 3 months)
