Production Area Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Area Leader to join our team. This role plays a key part in driving team performance, maintaining operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the production process.

• Support Team and Shift Leaders in the day-to-day running of the production line
• Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Manage raw materials from input through to finished product
• Drive improvements in production performance, scrap reduction, KPIs, and OEE
• Maintain high standards of communication across shifts and teams
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and quality procedures
• Provide cover for the Team Leader when required
• Promote a proactive, flexible, and continuous improvement culture

• Strong understanding of KPIs, KAIs, and their impact on production performance
• Proven ability to motivate and engage teams to improve performance and morale
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance procedures
• Experience maintaining quality control (QC) throughout production processes
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) - desirable
• Leadership or team leader qualification (ILM or equivalent) - desirable
