This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Production Team Manager, Shift Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 16:30 Rates of Pay • £50,000 - £53,000 per annum (pro rata) Benefits

• Work within a supportive and established manufacturing environment Day-to-Day Duties As a Temporary Production Manager, your duties will include:
• Managing production resources to achieve maximum productivity and material utilisation in line with production schedules
• Leading, motivating and developing production employees to optimise performance and team effectiveness
• Ensuring efficient communication and training across all production teams
• Maintaining and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a strong focus on health, safety and quality standards
• Conducting effective handovers with Production Managers to ensure continuity between shifts and departments
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained and supporting the implementation and sustainability of 5S principles
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across production processes, equipment and working practices
• Supporting productivity, quality and operational efficiency improvements across the manufacturing unit
• Monitoring performance and ensuring production targets are achieved Essential Skills
• Previous experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to mentor, coach and develop employees
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to deliver operational excellence while meeting customer expectations
• Experience managing production performance and driving continuous improvement activities
Desirable Experience
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles
• Experience implementing process improvements and productivity initiatives
• Project-based production management experience Training Provided
