Tooling Storekeeper

Leeds Bradford Airport – 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.

• Ensure all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled, and located correctly.
• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, perform minor maintenance, and ensure defective tooling is dispatched for repair or calibration efficiently.
• Carry out the Tooling Gods in function and ship Tooling DG as necessary.
• Take a proactive approach to maintain high service levels.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Liaise with internal and external departments and suppliers.
• Ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately.
• Uphold the Tooling department’s mission statement: “Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time”.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working with tooling equipment, ideally in the aviation sector.
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and able to prioritise work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Flexibility and willingness to support operational needs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
