Job Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced multi‑skilled fitter/assembler to join a leading manufacturing company specializing in providing electrical solutions to various industries.

• Fit various types of distribution and power units.
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality, ensuring products are produced and delivered OTIF to the customers' requirements.
• Check and complete all paperwork associated with the work order.
• Perform area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages, or equipment breakdown.
• Use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the fitting role.
• Conduct quality inspection of colleague's output.

• Hands‑on experience working within a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Ability to understand schematics and drawings.
• Ideally apprentice trained or time‑served.
• Good communication skills.
• Good H&S awareness.
• Attention to detail.
