Packing(Machine Stand-in) Operatives – Double Day Shift
The role involves checking, sorting and packing lottery tickets in a production line environment. Other duties include making up boxes, maintaining shopfloor cleanliness, and running packaging machinery as required. The successful candidate will have experience operating finishing machines in a busy, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Check, sort, and pack lottery tickets.
- Make up boxes.
- Maintain shopfloor cleanliness, tidiness and safety.
- Run packaging machinery as required.
- Be trained in quality control and use of the pedestrian pallet truck.
- Experience operating finishing machines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment (essential).
- Manual dexterity, numeracy skills, and communication ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a similar environment.
- Can be trained in quality control.
Salary: £27,610.23 per annum.
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – alternate early (0600‑1330) and late (1330‑2100) shift pattern.
Benefits: 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, free on‑site car parking, and a pension contribution match up to 6%.
