CNC Miller — Programmer/Setter/Operator | Leeds | Permanent | 4-Day Week

An established, well-respected engineering manufacturer in Leeds — supplying safety-critical components to the defence, rail, nuclear and energy sectors — is looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join its machining team. Genuinely varied, high-integrity work to tight tolerances on a business with real heritage and stability.

The role:

* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines — 3-axis XYZ and 4-axis Fanuc / Heidenhain controls

* Machining precision components to tight tolerances, right first time

* Working from engineering drawings, first-off and in-process inspection

* Tooling, offsets and maintaining quality throughout the run

We're looking for someone with:

* Proven CNC milling experience — setting and operating

* Programming capability preferred (more versatile), though strong setter/operators will be considered

* Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances

* A background in precision or subcontract manufacturing
