MIG Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing business that prides itself on producing high-quality fabricated products. As a MIG Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly process, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning components. Produce high-quality welds that meet customer and company quality standards. Inspect completed welds and carry out any necessary finishing work. Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve daily production targets. Report equipment faults, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors. The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
