Production Technician

A Creative Plant Display Technician is required to join a busy production team in Leeds. This is a temp to perm role, meaning you would be working through Sayjo Recruitment Ltd as a temporary worker in the first few weeks, with a view of being offered a permanent contract with our client
The hours of work are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, working a 42.5 hours week.
Duties will include:
 
* Creating planting displays and green walls inline with customer orders and following diagrams. Ensuring meticulous attention to detail for plant names and codes and quality.
 
* Design and create wooden frames and use of power tools ensuring accurate measuring and quality.
 
* Assisting in quality checks, plant maintenance and general warehouse duties.
 
* Following strict health and safety standards.
 
* Working to 5S working practice and high standards.
We are looking for:
 
* Basic joinery skills and power tools skills
 
* Working to fine detail in a bespoke design environment
 
* Great team and communication skills
 
* Ideally basic plant or gardening knowledge.
