Vacuum Forming Operator

Location:

Leeds 9

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:45pm - 3:45am

Hours:

46 hours per week

Pay:
Competitive hourly rate

Contract:

3-month temporary-to-permanent opportunity

Training:
Full training provided

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Vacuum Forming Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in Leeds 9.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within manufacturing, as full training will be provided. No previous vacuum forming experience is required, although previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage.

Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for operating vacuum forming machinery and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating vacuum forming machinery safely and efficiently, following production instructions and specifications. Preparing materials and components for production and monitoring the forming process to ensure products meet the required standards.
  • You will carry out basic quality checks, identify any defects or issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor. The role will also involve trimming and finishing products, maintaining a clean and organised working area, and following all company health and safety procedures.
