Metalis are currently working alongside an established manufacturer based in Leeds who are currently recruiting for a General Machinist to join their busy production & engineering team.
Candidates with CNC laser experience are preferred, but those with general CNC operating experience within manufacturing, production or engineering are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating CNC machinery within a production environment.
* Reading engineering drawings and following specifications.
* Carrying out quality checks and ensuring accuracy.
* Meeting production targets and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous CNC experience within manufacturing or engineering.
* Laser cutting experience advantageous but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and a reliable attitude.
Working Hours:
* Days: 6:00am–2:30pm
* Afternoons: 2:00pm–10:30pm
* Rotating every two weeks, Monday to Friday
* £28,000 - £31,000
