The Opportunity
I'm working with a highly respected independent branding agency in Leeds that’s looking to appoint an experienced and strategically minded Account Director to lead client relationships and deliver outstanding brand-led work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior agency professional who’s passionate about branding, thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, and is looking to work across a varied mix of clients and sectors.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding both strategic brand projects and integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with talented creative and strategy teams in a supportive, ideas-led culture.
The Role
As Account Director, you’ll be responsible for leading key client accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships, and ensuring delivery of high-quality work that meets strategic objectives.
You’ll be working across a range of brand creation, brand refresh, positioning, and identity projects, as well as multi-channel marketing campaigns – spanning digital, content, print, and social.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the strategic lead and main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients.
• Oversee the delivery of brand and integrated marketing projects – from brief through to execution.
• Work closely with internal teams (creative, strategy, digital) to ensure work is delivered on time, on brief, and to a high standard.
• Provide strategic guidance and brand expertise to clients, helping shape and evolve their brand presence.
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships, adding value and spotting potential for additional projects.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resourcing for your accounts.
• Mentor and support junior members of the client services team.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in an agency environment, ideally at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level.
• Strong background in brand strategy, brand development, and campaign delivery.
• Experience working across a variety of sectors – comfortable adapting to different audiences and client types.
• Strong understanding of the creative and production process across digital and traditional channels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised and commercially aware, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
• A passion for brand, design, and big-picture thinking.
What’s On Offer
• A key leadership role in a creative, independent agency known for quality, collaboration, and innovation.
• The chance to work across a diverse client base with exciting and varied brand challenges.
• A hybrid working model, typically 2–3 days in the central Leeds studio.
• Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
• Supportive team culture with a focus on career development, creativity, and flexibility.
