As Director, Arla Brand Masterbrand & Feed Life™, you will help shape the future direction of a €4bn global brand, turning that ambition into business and societal impact relevance across markets, categories and consumer experiences.
How you will make an impactAs Director, Arla Brand Masterbrand & Feed Life™, you will lead the development of Feed Life™ and shape the future strategic direction of the Arla brand globally. Working at the intersection of strategy, creativity, communications, digital and sustainability, you will spearhead key brand and transformation initiatives while leading a small team and influencing stakeholders across markets, functions and external partners.
Reporting to the VP, Global Arla Brand, this is a highly visible leadership role with significant exposure to senior executives and market leadership teams.
Your main responsibilities will be to
- Evolve the long-term global Arla brand strategy
, including strategic positioning, brand architecture and growth frameworks that strengthen brand equity and commercial impact - Build Feed Life™ as a leading and distinctive growth platform across European and international markets, clearly articulating Arla’s role in people’s lives, culture and society
- Drive strategic transformation projects
, including connected consumer experiences across paid, owned and earned channels, while partnering closely with Corporate Communications to strengthen Arla’s cultural impact and shape purpose-led agendas across health and sustainability
- Support central teams and markets in major transformation initiatives
, including leading creative and agency relationships to inspire creativity across connected consumer experiences - Build thought leadership around food culture
, strengthening trust in the brand and giving Feed Life™ a strong foundation through health and sustainability initiatives
The role can be based in any of our core markets;
Denmark, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany or Finland, and involves approximately 5-8 days of travel per month, primarily within Europe.
You are a strategic brand leader who combines long‑term vision with the ability to drive change and deliver results. You are equally comfortable shaping brand strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and translating consumer and cultural insights into growth opportunities. Most importantly, you are motivated by building brands that create lasting value for consumers, customers and the business.
In addition, we expect you bring
- Extensive experience in senior head of brand, equity or strategy leadership roles, ideally within a global or multi‑market business
- A proven track record of building brands and leading transformational change
- Strong expertise across brand strategy, communications, media and digital ecosystems
- The ability to influence, align and inspire senior stakeholders across complex organisations
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams and building strong partnerships with agencies and external partners
- A forward‑looking, big picture, agile mindset that combines strategic thinking and analytical acumen with curiosity about culture, emerging technologies and the forces shaping the future of marketing and strong brands
