Sapphire Independent Housing is a growing smaller housing association responding to the changing needs of affordable housing in London and Hertfordshire, while keeping the residents at the heart of everything we do.

Our track record in housing is established and proven. We are ambitious for the services that we deliver and it is an exciting time to join our Board. Sapphire have embarked on a significant development programme, making a £35 million investment into new affordable housing whilst retaining our commitment to our supported housing roots.

Recognising that strong governance is crucial to our continuing success we are now seeking two new members to join our Board.

We are looking for professional people with an impressive track record of achievement in their field either in an executive or non-executive director role. We want to hear from people who will contribute to our overall strategic direction and have the ability to govern a highly specialised and complex organisation.

We particularly invite interest from candidates with cross sector experience and background in either:

• Development (housing association experience)
• OR
• Who have current or recent Lived Experience of Social Housing.
