About Well Walk CiC

Well Walk Ci C is a community interest company dedicated to helping people improve their welbeing through walking, connection, and shared purpose. We believe in tackling social isolation, building confidence, and creating inclusive opportunities for everyone to feel part of their community one step at a time.

We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Volunteer Grant/Bid Writer to help us secure funding that supports our walking‑for‑wellbeing projects. You’ll play a key role in helping us grow, sustain, and expand our impact across local communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify suitable grant and funding opportunities
• Write, edit, and submit compelling funding applications
• Collaborate with Libby Croft and the Well Walk Ci C team to align bids with project goals
• Maintain a simple record of applications and outcomes
• Contribute ideas to strengthen our funding strategy and long‑term sustainability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in grant or bid writing (or a strong interest in learning)
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A genuine passion for helping people overcome social isolation and improve wellbeing
