Ifyou are looking for a career in Critical Care Nursing, we have an exciting opportunity for band 5 Staff Nurses with post-registration experience in anacute care setting to join our Clinical Service Unit. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to undertake a rotation across the service gaining vast experience from across the speciality.

Weare looking for experienced, dynamic, motivated and compassionate Staff Nurses who can ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality patient centred care to the patients nursed within our critical care units.

The successful candidates will be expected to work clinically within themulti-disciplinary team, maintain high standards of practice and deliver outstanding critical care.

Please note that Interviews for this post will be held face-to-face only to enable participation in a scenario-based assessment therefore applicants must beable to attend in-person.

Toprovide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, an devaluation of individualised programmes of care.

To deliver care without supervision.

To take charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse.

To participate in the in-service training, preceptorship, and mentorship of junior staff, post basic learner sand students.

To take responsibility as the primecare provider for a group of patients.

To promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care.

Adult Critical Care consists of 5 Critical Care units, 3 at Leeds General Infirmary(General Critical Care, Cardiac Critical Care, and Neurosurgical Critical Care) and 2 at St James Hospital (General Critical Care and Surgical-Oncology Critical Care).

Registered Adult Nurse (Level 1 or
2)
