An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative senior nurse, midwife orAHP with a passion for clinical research delivery to join the Research &Innovation CSU at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Band 8a Lead Nurse(1.0 WTE).
Thisrole is ideal for someone eager to influence the future of research operations within a large and forward thinking NHS Trust. As a key member ofthe senior nursing team, you will contribute to strategic research leadership, clinical governance and the delivery of high quality clinical studies. You will be supported to further develop your leadership, change management and strategic planning skills within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Youwill provide professional leadership and highlevel management to research nursing and administrative teams across multiple specialties, ensuring safe,effective and compliant research delivery. Working closely with senior leaders across Research & Innovation and CSUs, you will help drive strategic goals, strengthen systems and processes and promote excellence in governance.
Youwill work alongside fellow Lead Nurses to embed best practice, support service improvement and raise the profile of research across the Trust,contributing to the growth of research capacity within the nonmedical workforce.

Main duties of the jobWeare seeking a proactive and self motivated research professional to helpdrive the Trusts strategic approach to developing our clinical research nursing, midwifery, AHP and CRP workforce. The post holder will play a key leadership role in shaping, implementing and advancing initiatives that strengthen and modernise the nonmedical research delivery workforce.
Working with national, regional and local stakeholders, they will provide expert professional leadership and lead workforce development projects aligned tothe Trusts Research & Innovation strategy and wider education and workforce plans. This includes supporting new workforce models, enhancing skills and competencies, and promoting innovative approaches to research delivery.
Thepost holder will hold management responsibility for designated areas of the research delivery workforce. Working closely with the Head of Nursing for Research & Innovation and senior management team they will ensure effective Trustwide oversight of workforce capacity and contribute tomeeting NIHR and Department of Health research performance targets.
Akey part of this role is supporting and delivering initiatives that build research capacity across the nonmedical workforce. The post holder will help develop opportunities for staff to engage in research, support training and development pathways, and promote a culture where research is valued and embedded within clinical practice.

Jobresponsibilities
Asan expert in research the Lead Nurse/Midwife/AHP will contribute to the
development of the Trusts strategic approach to clinical research
nursing/midwifery/AHP(CRN/M/AHP) and non-medical research delivery
workforce development and will be responsible for its implementation.
Working with key stakeholders on a national, regional and local basis, the post
holder will provide professional leadership, expertise and will lead the Trusts
research delivery workforce modernisation projects arising from the Trusts
Research and Innovation strategy and nursing and midwifery education, training
and workforce strategies.
Thepost holder will have management responsibility for specific services relating
tothe research delivery workforce. The post holder will work closely with the
