Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to respective program schedules. All employment offers consider overall experience, job‑related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under the direct supervision of the RN, consulting with other nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills required to care for the resident population on an assigned unit.
  • Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice is within state and federal guidelines.
  • Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
  • Review all referrals for consultation, treatment, or resolution of problems and ensure they are valid and applicable to documented nurse plans.
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
  • Set and implement goals and policies consistent with Future Care’s nursing facility philosophy and purpose.
Qualifications
  • Must hold an active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland.
  • Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long‑term health care facility is a plus.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed.
  • Must possess a current CPR license.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families.
